The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing support for Australians with disability, their families and carers. The NDIS will provide about 460,000 Australians under the age of 65 with a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable and necessary supports they need to live an ordinary life. As an insurance scheme, the NDIS takes a lifetime approach, investing in people with disability early to improve their outcomes later in life. The NDIS gives all Australians peace of mind that if their child or loved one is born with or acquires a permanent and significant disability, they will get the support they need. The NDIS supports people with disability to build skills and capability so they can participate in the community and employment. Ndis- How We Can Support You
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will see people with a disability across Australia able to determine the disability supports they wish to receive. This is a once-in-a-generation change for people with disabilities and at Simplicity Care we are excited to be able to support people to select the support of their choosing – to determine their care without much hassle! Roll out of NDIS will occur at different times for each state and territory and the regions within each, as Bilateral Agreements are signed between the Commonwealth and the state or territory government. We offer disability supports and services to all age groups eligible for the NDIS funds. We have a reliable, trustworthy and experienced staff to deliver a range of individual support and services.

As the NDIS rolls out across the country, more and more people eligible for the funding will have the chance to choose self-directed support and take control. But in most cases, you don’t have to wait for the NDIS to come to you. You can self-direct now if you want to.
